The annual Stowmarket Christmas Fayre, in partnership with Stowmarket Town Council, took place on Sunday 26th November 2023. We were joined by 2,000 people at Red Gables from 10am to 3pm, where there was 20+ community groups and charity stalls located around our car park. We were met with a variety of raffles, tombola’s, gifts and crafts for sale, as well as fun activities for all of the family to enjoy – including a fun and educational wildlife trail, in partnership with the National Literacy Trust.

A crowd formed in the car park as we all got into the Christmas spirit with live music throughout the day from Wesley Ukelele Band, Stowmarket Operatic and Dramatic Society (SODS), Evie Capon, Under the Bridge and Singing For the Brain.

Visitors were able to take a break and keep warm in The Redwoods Hall for some delicious mulled wine and other refreshments including mince pies and homemade carrot and coriander soup.

Red Gables is conveniently located at the top of town, opposite The Mix and next to The Regal. If you would like to participate by hosting a stall for our 2024 events, simply email us via the contact page or at contact@redgables.org.uk to reserve a free space for your community group or charity (subject to availability). See you all again soon!
