Get Suffolk Reading

Get Suffolk Reading inspires families across the county to read together, and helps parents to support their children’s literacy skills.

We also work with schools to aid the teaching of literacy and partner with local organisations who support our mission to raise literacy levels across the county. If you would like to get involved please email

Our practitioners all have lived experience of neurodiversity and/or mental health and understand that managing symptoms is not always easy! The East Anglian Traditional Music Trust

The East Anglian Traditional Music Trust is an independent registered charity and has been in existence since 2000. The charity’s main objective is to advance education in the traditional folk music of East Anglia and other areas, including folk songs, tunes, dances, customs and traditions.  In order to achieve this the Trust organises workshops, classes, concerts, lectures, exhibitions, community and schools projects, carries out research and archiving work and publishes resources.

Stowmarket & Area Foodbank

The Stowmarket and Area Foodbank was launched in October 2012 by New Life Church to provide individuals and families from Stowmarket and the surrounding areas who are in crisis with emergency food parcels. The Foodbank has various donation boxes surrounding Stowmarket, including one located in our Redwoods building where they can accept donations of tinned and packaged foods as well as toiletries such as shower gel and toothpaste.
