On 17th October, between 2pm to 4pm, the Stowmarket and District Dementia Community Group hosted a 1960s-themed Afternoon Tea Dance at The Rookery Bowling Club, in Stowmarket. Following the huge success of their previous Afternoon Tea Dance, they were pleased to host another afternoon of 60s-themed music from talented singer Ralph, delightful entertainment from Bob, with of course some dancing, a wonderful afternoon tea which included sandwiches and cakes and most importantly, an opportunity to socialise and meet new people! This is a dementia friendly event and has kindly been supported by Mid Suffolk District Council and High Road Festival 2023.
  A big thankyou to everyone who came to support our Craft Fairs or booked a stall in 2024, altogether the group have helped us raise a total of ยฃ1,253.56! Of course, a huge thankyou to the Stow Crafters, we look forward to the upcoming craft fairs in 2025.
