On 17th October, between 2pm to 4pm, the Stowmarket and District Dementia Community Group hosted a 1960s-themed Afternoon Tea Dance at The Rookery Bowling Club, in Stowmarket. Following the huge success of their previous Afternoon Tea Dance, they were pleased to host another afternoon of 60s-themed music from talented singer Ralph, delightful entertainment from Bob, with of course some dancing, a wonderful afternoon tea which included sandwiches and cakes and most importantly, an opportunity to socialise and meet new people! These events are expected to sell out each time, so to find out when the next event is, email Fiona at dementiacommunitygroup@redgables.org.uk

This is a dementia friendly event and has kindly been supported by Mid Suffolk District Council and High Road Festival 2023.
  A big thankyou to everyone who came to support our Craft Fairs or booked a stall in 2024, altogether the group have helped us raise a total of ยฃ1,253.56! Of course, a huge thankyou to the Stow Crafters, we look forward to the upcoming craft fairs in 2025.
